Improve your mental health with evidence-based counseling services
At Grand Valley Integrative Counseling, we believe that your mental health is more than just a survey you complete at the doctor's office, or on the internet. Optimal mental health treatment provides an intrinsic understanding of one's self and life circumstances. As mental health providers, our philosophy includes the embodiment of integrity and authenticity, which enhance the therapeutic relationship necessary for successful outcomes. The foundation of self-growth begins when patients believe that their mental health provider can help them process unpleasant feelings like shame, guilt, or grief with unconditional positive regard for the presenting problem.
By participating in outpatient treatment at Grand Valley Integrative Counseling, clients report a noticeable difference in the way they feel, think and interact with others. Our counseling interventions are evidence-based, which means clients can replicate the positive effects of counseling at home. After the client develops insight into their mental health, they are more empowered to maintain stability after discharging from the program.
Grand Valley Integrative Counseling offers outpatient counseling and withdrawal management services. New clients can expect to complete a mental health intake and treatment plan at their first appointment. As part of the initial intake, clients complete an evaluation of the presenting problem to assess for symptoms of anxiety, ADHD, depression, suicidality, childhood trauma, disassociation, eating disorders, PTSD, or substance use/abuse. Available outpatient services include both individual and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, health & behavior intervention, and care coordination.
Grand Valley Integrative Counseling accepts all major insurances, including Medicaid & Medicare, as well as cash, check, or electronic payment through PayPal. Sliding fee scales are available depending on eligibility and the poverty guidelines updated periodically in the Federal Register by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services under the authority of 42. U.S.C. 9902 (2).
